Every creative hopes they get the call to make a Ferrari spot. It’s even better when it’s for the launch of two of the biggest brands in the world coming together for an F1 partnership.
First we had to figure out how to position two massive brands that don’t have a lot in common in a way that made sense. Then we had to make it exciting and look incredible. I think we pulled it off. It’s hard not to when you have a red Scuderia Ferrari car screaming around a track in Italy.
I developed the positioning, concept and creative on this project from brief to storyboards. I was also the director on set, and saw this through the editing process that needed leadership approval from both brands all the way up the chain.
This was premiered at a huge in-person event, and people cheered. That isn’t something that happens a lot at corporate events, so we were all really happy with this one.
